DODA: A person, Bashir Ahmed, who hails  from Village Ludna of Teshil Gundana of  District Doda who is disabled with both hands and is the sole breadwinner of two sisters. He has two sisters and is facing hardships in this lockdown.

Having disableness in fate by birth, he has no other source of income. The villagers help him by giving financial support in the hour of crisis.




He is facing  various problems. Neither the mentioned person has access of any scheme , nor he has job card.   Even under IAY, he not gets any financial assistance. The villagers help him but in this time of high inflation rate ,this  amount is  too little for survival .

Talking to Khalsa Express News , he said that his montly pension is only one thousand rupees and there is no other source of income and Rs, 1000 is too little and is impossible for three people to live on Rs, 1000.Bashir Ahmed while taking to  Khalsa Express said  that , his father died due to an accident and his mother suffered from tumour and left for heavenly abode. Till then , without hands he is facing hardships. He told that he has taken money from villagers for treatment of his mother ,and still has debt on his head and has to pay and due to disableness is  not able to pay his debit. 





The social media particualrly , particulary Facebook and WhatsApp is flooded with messages of lending helping hand to this person  and social media users  appeals to Doda District  administration for helping this disabled person. The sarpanch of  the said  area  appealed to District Administration Doda  and social Welfare Department to increase the pension of said person and to remit the funds from the Dahi Sudhar Department under IAY as soon as possible.
