Residents of Village Hemote of District Doda are without water supply from last six months


DODA , JULY 09: Water is the lifeblood of our planet and is the life's matter and matrix. It may sound bitter but it's the real truth that on ground level several villages in District Doda are lacking drinking water .







 Villagers of  village Hemote of Tehsil Bahderwah of  District Doda are without water supply from last 3 months. The village Hemote   of Tehsil Bhaderwah is a hilly and remote village where villagers face acute shortage of drinking water . Nearly , more than forty households are without this universal solvent  which is  essential  for exsistance. 




During conversation with Khalsa Express Correspondent, the villagers alleged that they are forced to travel the Nallahs to bring the water which is too far . They told , in mid of village in  water storage point  they have not viewed a drop of water ..

The villagers of the said village alleged that a water scheme (Garnai to Zenzenda ) which was working but from last 4 months they are without a drop of  water.  They told ,no officials of PHE Department take our issue seriously . They alleged , several times contacted with officials  of concerned department but  recieved no quick response on ground level and have appelaed to authorities many times but no officials of PHE Department feel it necessary to visit ground zero so that the reality comes to  limelight.




The residents of the said area demanded the personal  intervention of  Deputy Commissioner Doda to have a kind look in the issue at earliest so that the residents not face more  problems in this hour of crisis.
