DODA, JULY 24: After 3 years ,Thathri Cloudburst victims are still awaiting for footbridge. Three years ago on the intervening night of 20th & 21st July , a horrible incident occured in Main Bazar Thathri when a cloud burst in upper reaches of Tehsil Thathri. There was a flood in the Tipri Nallah near Academy School Thathri due to cloudburst that took six lives & number of houses were destroyed. It sounded like a hurricane and within the duration the havoc created . 




Rumours spread across the town ,some people were shouting in local language ,some were renemebring Almighty .Panic gripped among the residents everywhere.

The flood victims demanded the construction of  foot bridge many times , resolutions pased requests framed but till date nothing seems devolped. Risk of life increases as people  of the said area are forced to step inside to cross the bridge.






The residents have demanded the intervention of Deputy Commsioner Doda  to have a kind look in the matter so that the residents not face hardships.
